Late December 2013, urban fashion retailer heidi.com opened its first brick-and-mortar flagship store in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It marked the first highlight after months of work, defining technology, architecture, usability and design of this omnichannel retail experience. It was the work of the Retail of Tomorrow consortium, the think tank behind this vision: Samsung Chemical, Samsung Semiconductor, Zaha Hadid Architects, intel, Inox communications, red ant and, of course, heidi.com.
The digital signage solution convinced customers of all age groups at the opening day, the design of the store simply blew people away… Krowne, working on their Endless Shelf Platform project were asked to bring their video crew and produce a small film that heidi.com and the Retail of Tomorrow could use for promotion and educational purposes. We were happy to oblige.
